Stop your pool leaking for good
If your pool loses water week after week, patching cracks rarely fixes it for long. A welded membrane lining seals the whole pool at once, so the water stays where it belongs.
Signs your pool is leaking
- You're topping up far more water than evaporation explains
- Cracked, loose or drummy tiles, especially along joints and corners
- Wet or soft ground, or water where it shouldn't be around the pool
- Rising chemical and heating costs from constant top-ups
- Repairs that fix one crack, only for another to appear
Why patch repairs don't last
Concrete pools move with temperature, ground conditions and filling and emptying. Tiles, grout and render can't move with them, so cracks reopen and new ones appear. Each repair treats one spot while water finds the next weak point.
How a membrane solves it
Instead of chasing individual cracks, we install a continuous reinforced PVC membrane over the whole pool. It forms a new watertight layer inside the shell and is independent of it, so movement in the concrete no longer turns into a leak.
An honest diagnosis first
Not every leak is in the shell. Sometimes it's pipework, fittings or the balance tank. We inspect the pool before we quote, and if the membrane isn't the answer, we'll tell you what is.
Common questions
How do I know if my pool is actually leaking?
Compare your top-up volume with normal evaporation for your area. If you're adding noticeably more, or the level keeps dropping when the pool is closed, it's worth an inspection.
Will a membrane fix a leak in the pipework?
No. A membrane seals the pool shell. If the leak is in pipes or fittings, that needs to be repaired separately, and we'll tell you if our inspection points that way.
Can you line a pool that has leaked for years?
Yes. Many of the council pools we've relined had leaked for years. As long as the shell is structurally sound, a membrane can seal it.
